Ari is an artificial study partner, not a person. Its answers are generated by language models.
A synthetic voice
Ari's voice is a synthetic voice, generated by ElevenLabs. It is not a recording of a person speaking to you live.
Generated content
- Summaries, study suggestions, the "Your path" portrait and some translations or paraphrases are generated by artificial intelligence and labelled as such.
- Source texts (Sefaria) are not generated: they are shown as published.
Models we use
As of the date this page was last updated:
- Conversation
- a language model routed through OpenRouter (DeepSeek, hosted in the United States or the European Union), with Anthropic's Claude as a fallback.
- Writing (summaries, portrait, translations)
- Claude, by Anthropic.
- Voice
- ElevenLabs.
Limits
- Ari can make mistakes, including about a reference. Check the text on screen.
- Ari does not give psak: for a question of halakha, ask a rabbi.
- Ari does not replace a human teacher.
