For schools
Every student studies the lesson's text, out loud, with Ari.
The teacher gives a text. Each student studies it in havruta with Ari, who asks questions instead of giving answers. The teacher sees who studied and what came out of it, never the conversations.

How it works
Ten minutes to start, then a text each week.
Open the pilot
Your school, one class, your students (one by one or from a CSV file) and their login cards to print. Students need no email address.
Give a text to study
This week's parasha, the daf yomi or any text on Sefaria, with a note for Ari, a question to bring back to class and a due date.
Each student studies with Ari
Out loud, for 10 to 30 minutes, at home or in class. Ari follows your note, adapts to the class's level and never does the work for the student.
You see what came out of it
Who studied and for how long, the summary of each assignment session, and Ari's synthesis for the class: common threads, misunderstandings, points to debate and a plan for the next lesson.
What the teacher sees
Enough to prepare the next lesson, without reading a single transcript.
What the teacher never sees
- The conversations: never a transcript.
- The student's free study: only the time spent.
- Grades or rankings: there are none.
Most students stopped on “Lekh lekha”: why does Avram set out without knowing where he is going? Leah and Sarah see a test of trust; Noam thinks the journey matters more than the arrival. Two students confused leaving his land with leaving his family.
Points to debate
- Setting out without knowing where: trust or recklessness?
- What does one really leave: a country, a family, a way of thinking?
For the next lesson
5 minutes: read verse 1 aloud together. 10 minutes: debate the first question in pairs. 5 minutes: Rashi on “lekh lekha”, “for his own benefit and good”.
לך לך. לַהֲנָאָתְךָ וּלְטוֹבָתְךָ
Rashi on Genesis 12:1

Your school stays in charge of its students' data.
Login cards without email
A username, a 6-character password and a QR code. Locked for 15 minutes after 5 wrong attempts; the teacher resets it in one click.
Your school decides
The school is the controller of its students' data and we are its processor, under a data processing agreement annexed to the terms.
No advertising
No advertising, and no advertising tracker or audience measurement on the student sign-in pages or on any page a signed-in student sees. Their data is never sold.
The account stays the student's
When they leave the school, or when the school's contract ends, students can keep their account by adding an email address. Card accounts not kept are deleted 90 days after the end of the school year (or 90 days after the student leaves, if that is later), or 90 days after the school's contract ends (120 days after a pilot without an order ends).
Not a rabbi
Ari studies with the student; he gives no psak and can make mistakes. The text, the commentators and his own ideas are always kept apart.

Questions from schools
Does each student need an email address?
No. Each student gets a login card with a username, a password and a QR code. Students who have an address can also be invited by email.
Can the teacher read the conversations?
No, never. The teacher sees the time, the status and the summary of each assignment session, and Ari's synthesis. The student's free study stays theirs.
What happens when the study time runs out?
Administrators are told at 80% and at 100%. New sessions stop until the next month (or until the end of the pilot); you can add seats at any time.
And when the pilot ends?
Without an order, the school space becomes read-only and your students carry on with their personal account. Nothing is deleted for 30 days, and ordering within that time brings everything back. After that, the pilot counts as the end of the contract: card accounts that were not kept are deleted 120 days after the pilot ends.
Can we pay by bank transfer or with a purchase order?
Yes: an invoice due in 30 days by bank transfer, with your VAT number and your purchase order reference. Above 30 students, we prepare a quote.
Is Ari suitable for every community?
Yes: he is neutral between communities, gives no psak, and relies on the texts and commentators of Sefaria.
For which ages?
From primary school to adults: the teacher sets the class's level, and Ari adapts his sentences and his questions.
