Terms for schools
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms of sale for schools (the "School terms") apply to any use of Hevraya by a school or an educational organisation (the "School") from AI Bootcamp (SIREN 994 754 802). They apply between professionals and prevail over the School's purchasing terms unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Parties
AI Bootcamp, SAS, 13 chemin du Moulin de Trissepaille, 34570 Saussan, France, RCS Montpellier 994 754 802, VAT FR54994754802, publishes Hevraya ("we"). Contact: contact@hevraya.com.
The School is the legal entity that opens a school space or places an order. The person acting on its behalf declares they have the authority to do so.
The service
- A school space: administrators, teachers, classes, seats and billing.
- Student accounts, created by the School with a login card (username, password and QR code) or through an email invitation.
- Out-loud study with Ari, on texts from Sefaria, including the assignments teachers give.
- For teachers: study time, the status of each assignment, the summary of assignment sessions and Ari's synthesis for the class. Never the conversations or their transcripts. Of a student's free study, the School sees only the time spent.
Ari is an artificial intelligence: it can make mistakes, it is not a rabbi and gives no psak. Teachers remain responsible for their teaching.
Free pilot
- The pilot is free and lasts 30 days. It includes one class and up to 30 students, with a pool of study time equivalent to 30 minutes per student for its whole duration, shared across the class (per-student cap, by default twice that share).
- One pilot per school. A second pilot may be refused when the School's name, or the domain of its administrator's email address, matches a school already registered.
- When the pilot ends without an order, the school space becomes read-only for its administrators and teachers, and students continue on their personal account. Nothing is deleted for 30 days, and an order placed within that time reactivates the space. A pilot not followed by an order within 30 days counts as the end of the contract: card accounts that were not kept are deleted with all their data 120 days after the pilot ends, or earlier if their deletion was already due, as the data processing agreement sets out.
- The pilot commits the School to no purchase.
Ordering
- Up to 30 seats in total, the School orders online from its school space, by card or by an invoice paid by bank transfer. The contract is formed by that order: on card payment, or when the invoice is issued.
- Above 30 seats, or for a discount, we make an offer. The contract is then formed when the corresponding invoice is issued, or when we receive the School's purchase order.
- A quote is an informational document (PDF), for example for the School's board or accountant; it is not an order. An order goes through online payment, an invoice or a purchase order.
- An order on a purchase order may be activated before payment; the corresponding invoice remains payable on its due date.
- The School may give its purchase order reference; its own general purchasing terms do not apply.
- The quote, the invoice and the online order summary state the number and kind of seats, the period and the price.
Prices
- Prices are shown excluding VAT, per student seat and per month, and invoiced for the whole period ordered. Every calendar month the period covers is invoiced in full, the first one included.
- The period is either the school year, which ends with the following month of June (30 June), or a term of 3 months, which ends on the last day of the second month after the month in which it starts. A school year ordered in June, July or August starts on 1 September; a term ordered in July or August also starts on 1 September, and a term ordered in June starts in June.
- The public price list is on the website's Schools page. The applicable price is the one on that page on the day of an online order, unless a different period, price or payment term is stated in the quote or the invoice. An offer or a renewal keeps the agreed price.
- VAT is computed by Stripe Tax according to the School's country and status: 20% in France; reverse charge for a VAT-registered school established in another EU Member State; outside the scope of French VAT for a school located outside the Union, for example in Israel; in other cases, under the applicable rules.
Invoicing and payment
- Seats are invoiced in advance for the whole period.
- By card, payment is handled by Stripe and seats are active on payment. We never see or keep card details.
- By bank transfer, the invoice is due within 30 days, unless a different term (1 to 90 days) is stated in the quote or the invoice, and seats are active as soon as the invoice is issued.
- Invoices are issued in the name of AI Bootcamp, with the School's legal name, its VAT number if any and its purchase order reference.
- Any late payment incurs penalties at three times the French statutory interest rate and a fixed recovery fee of €40 (Article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code).
- If an invoice is still unpaid 15 days after its due date, the school space and its seats are suspended: the access the School funds stops and students continue on their personal account. The administrators are told. Nothing is deleted, and paying the invoice reactivates the space.
Seats
- A seat lets one student at a time study on the School's behalf. Teachers and administrators do not take a seat.
- There are two kinds of seats, Class and Intensive, which differ in the study time included.
- A student in several classes takes one seat only, of the highest kind among their classes.
- When a student leaves the School, their seat is freed and can be given to another student during the period.
- Seats can be added during a period, at the applicable price, for each remaining calendar month of the period, the current month included.
- Seats ordered give rise to no refund, even if they are not all used.
Study time
Each seat includes a monthly study time, pooled across all the School's seats of the same kind (the "pool") and shown in the school space. The number of minutes per seat is an indicative equivalent: the pool is measured on the real cost of use (voice and artificial intelligence).
- A per-student cap, adjustable by administrators (by default twice a seat's time), stops a few students from using up the pool.
- Administrators are told at 80% and at 100% of the pool. Once it is used up, new sessions cannot start until the following month; seats can be added at any time.
- Unused time does not carry over from one month to the next.
- For a card payment, the payment fees are deducted from the pool; the number of minutes shown remains an indicative equivalent.
- Teachers and administrators who have no paid personal plan get, at our expense, 60 minutes of personal study time a month, which does not count against the pool.
Student accounts
- The School creates its students' accounts, with a login card (no email address needed) or through an invitation sent to their email address.
- The account belongs to the student; the School gives it a seat. While the student is a member of the School, their teachers see their assignments and the summaries of their assignment sessions, never their conversations.
- When the student leaves the School, they can keep their account by adding an email address to it. A card account that was not kept is deleted with all its data 90 days after the end of the school year (30 June), or 90 days after the student left if that is later, or, at the end of the contract, as the data processing agreement sets out (the earlier date applies).
- The School and its teachers keep card passwords confidential and hand them only to the students concerned. After 5 wrong attempts an account is locked for 15 minutes; a teacher can reset its password.
The School's commitments
- To inform students and, for minors, the holders of parental authority about the use of the service, and to hold the authorisations its rules and the applicable law require. We collect no consent from families on the School's behalf.
- To see that the service is used in line with its terms of use, in particular its acceptable use.
- To appoint its administrators and keep its classes, teachers and students up to date.
- Not to enter sensitive data about students (health, family situation, disciplinary assessments) in names, instructions or assignment questions.
Personal data
For the data of students, teachers and administrators processed as part of the service provided to the School, the School is the controller and AI Bootcamp is its processor, within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR. The data processing agreement is part of these terms.
When a student keeps their account after leaving the School, and for the personal use of an account that existed before they joined, AI Bootcamp is the controller under its privacy policy.
No student data is sold or used for advertising.
Support and availability
- Support answers by email, at contact@hevraya.com, within [to confirm: support reply time for schools].
- We make our best efforts to keep the service available at all times; it may be interrupted for maintenance or when a provider fails. Planned maintenance is announced to administrators in advance when possible.
Liability
- Our obligation is one of means (best efforts).
- Ari can make mistakes; its answers replace neither a teacher nor a rabbi. The texts come from Sefaria and its licensed editions; we are not answerable for their content.
- Neither party is liable for indirect damage, such as lost revenue, data or reputation.
- Our total liability, for all damage combined, is limited to the amounts the School paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it.
- These limits do not apply to gross negligence or wilful misconduct, nor to bodily injury.
Term and end of the contract
- The contract runs for the period ordered. It does not renew automatically: 30 days before the end, administrators receive a pre-filled quote for the next period.
- If the School commits a serious breach or the service is used against its terms of use, we may suspend the school space after telling its administrators by email; the suspension ends when the breach is remedied.
- If a party commits a serious breach not remedied 30 days after formal notice by email, the other party may terminate the contract.
- When the contract ends, the school space becomes read-only, students continue on their personal account, and the data is handled as the data processing agreement provides.
Changes
- We may change these terms. Administrators are told by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
- A change applies from the next period; the current period stays governed by the terms accepted at the order, unless the law requires otherwise.
Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by French law.
- In a dispute, the parties first seek an amicable solution, in writing to contact@hevraya.com.
- Failing agreement within 30 days, the dispute goes to the competent courts within the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal of Montpellier.
- These terms may be concluded in French, English or Hebrew; if the versions differ, the French version prevails.
